Rand Paul

Two Tickets/One Book

The junior U.S. senator from Kentucky since 2011, Rand Paul has distinguished himself on the national stage for his outspoken views on constitutional liberties and federal fiscal restraint. Son of the equally colorful former U.S. representative and presidential candidate Ron Paul, he also owned his own ophthalmology practice for nearly two decades and has performed eye surgery since 1993. He currently helps patients pro bono across Kentucky and in such places as Haiti and Guatemala. In his new book, Paul argues that the implementation of socialism in America would lead to authoritarian leadership and oppressive government control.
